Working with us

The ATC works with, partners with or is involved with a wide network of organisations both locally and nationally these include:

Yorkshire Renewable Energy Network (YREN)

Delivering the Countryside Agency’s Community Renewables Initiative project across Yorkshire and the Humber, the ATC is the lead partner and delivery agent. This project helps and supports communities across the region to install renewable energy technologies.

Upper Calder Valley Renaissance

The ATC sits on Hebden Bridge town partnership, the group which was instrumental in persuading Yorkshire Forward to run their flagship Rural Renaissance initiative in the Upper Calder Valley. This initiative has involved over 2000 members of the local community in putting together town and action plans for the valley. The ATC acts as the resource for sustainability for the initiative and is involved in a number of projects:

Energy plan for the Upper Calder Valley

Promotion, in websites, demonstrations and events,

Expert advice – technical and financial, social enterprise and community development

Training  in installing renewable energy systems

Project management – working with contractors, installers and consultants
